About us

NAC Resource Centre (formerly Newham African Caribbean Resource Centre), incorporated in February 1986 is located in Plaistow, in the heart of the London Borough of Newham in the East End of London. Served by excellent transport links, NACRC has for over 20 years been meeting the needs of the diverse population of Newham.

The community centre serves as the hub for the local community (not only African and Caribbean) in Newham; it allows a cost effective location for community activities to take place.

Today NACRC is used by over 70 groups that provide niche services to their client groups and stage events from the centre.

NACRC provides subsidised hall letting facilities to allow health, social cultural, educational and leisure activities to take place.

Reacting to the need of local parents, NACRC provides a well used After School Club, Holiday Playscheme and Crèche facilities.
